Party campground. No patrols during quit hours. Went and told caretaker at 11pm a site was being loud. He drove by in his Dec marked truck, of course they quieted down when they saw him coming. Back at after he passed till 130 am. Never have I been to a NYS campground with 0 enforcement of quiet hours.
It was beautiful, but very secluded. If you're into the seclusion, this is the place for you. I personally was pretty uneasy camping there at night. During the day, however, the place is booming with people bringing kayaks and boats. The water is clear enough to see the bottom, and you see fish swimming around when you stand on the dock. Definitely a hidden gem during the day.

Very nice campground. Very secluded and it was quiet when my daughter and I visited. We chose this over Lincoln pond campground because of its seclusion. We did not run into any rude campers so I cannot comment on that but we have run into those people and they can make the best campsite seem awful. This campground doesn't deserve a 3-star rating (as of 8-28-17) . The only reason is from negative reviews about obnixious campers and not the campground.
Other campers are rude, they drive fast, and their dogs won't stop barking. Plus they thought they owned the beach.
